Every year, the Westergasfabriek and its partners organize the ‘Lenteborrel (Spring drinks). This is the moment for the Westergasfabriek to show the entire event industry one of their special buildings. Since we became their brand new (catering) partner in crime, this was also our time to show not only why, but mostly how we, as a catering agency, can make a difference.

We could not wait to show our next-level and innovative concepts, dishes, drinks and specialists. Of course, with an ode to spring and a new beginning. Together with our signature chef Marnix Benschop we served 'kitchen crossovers' at the 'chef's table': including 'burrata à la Szechuan' and oysters with za'atar and salted lemon. In a fancy greenhouse, Maidie built her Blossom Bar with aromatic herbs and flowers for cocktails, mocktails and syrups. Claudia from Vuur & Vlam and Pascal from Food Union both made colorful bites with spring flowers and herbs. Our ice queen Janet ran the 'soft serve' ice cream bar and introduced our soft serve with cotton candy halo - it became a real hit.
